About Tecnodisco
Tecnodisco, S.A. was a Spanish record manufacturer based in Alcorcón, Madrid, founded in 1988 though credited on records from 1987; it began making CDs in 1993, merged with GEMA O.D. in September 2007 and was wound up in 2008.[1] In 1990 it set up Tecno CD, a CD plant in part of its vinyl pressing plant, as a joint venture with MPO.[1] It manufactured the 1989 Spanish pressing of Bob Dylan’s Oh Mercy LP, distributed by Discos CBS, S.A., Madrid.[2]
