Sapporo Breweries Limited is a Japanese brewer headquartered in Ebisu, Shibuya, Tokyo.[1] Its history begins with the Kaitakushi brewery in Sapporo in 1876. Since a 2003 restructuring it has been the brewing company under Sapporo Holdings Limited. It bought the Canadian brewer Sleeman Breweries in 2006 and brews the Sapporo brand.[1]
