About Rossmann

Rossmann (Dirk Rossmann GmbH) is one of Europe's largest drugstore chains, founded in 1972 by Dirk Rossmann and headquartered in Burgwedel near Hanover.[1] The Rossmann family owns 60 % of the company and the Hong Kong-based A.S. Watson Group 40 %.[1] It sells 29 own brands with about 4,600 products (as of 2019), among them Isana, Alterra, Domol, Alouette, enerBiO and Babydream.[2]

A.S. Watson took over the 40 % stake with the Dutch chain Kruidvat, dated 2002 by German Wikipedia[2] and 2004 by English Wikipedia.[1] The company has sold online since 1999.[2] The GTIN block 4305615 is inferred to be Rossmann's: its own brands (Rossmann, Babydream, enerBiO, Genuss Plus, King's Crown) name 26 of the first 30 Open Food Facts packs read under it on 2026-09-25.
