Rähinä Records is a Finnish record label devoted to rap music, based in Helsinki. The label began in 1998 as a circle of rappers around Elastinen and Iso H of Fintelligens together with Andu, Tasis, Uniikki, Asa and Jussi Valuutta, and became a record company proper in 2003; Elastinen ran it until September 2015, when Essi Kivitie took over as managing director.^[1] The English Wikipedia article on Fintelligens names the members of Fintelligens and Kapasiteettiyksikkö as the founders of the label.^[2] The Finnish Trade Register records Rähinä Records Oy under business ID 1852538-2, registered on 4 November 2003, with sound recording and music publishing as its line of business.^[3] The label appears beside Columbia as the production label of the 2000 CD single "Stockholm - Helsinki".^[4]
