About Pinnacle Entertainment
Pinnacle Entertainment was a United Kingdom entertainment group, best known as one of the country's leading independent record labels and distributors.[1] Its music division, Audio Services Ltd., distributed more than 400 independent record labels in the UK.[1] Discogs describes it as a UK distribution company based in Orpington, Kent.[2] It was named on packs as the UK distributor, for example on the European CD of Lovage's Music to Make Love to Your Old Lady By.[3]
Windsong/Pinnacle was bought by the Zomba Group in 1996 and moved under Bertelsmann's Arvato AG after BMG bought Zomba in 2002.[1] A buyout from Arvato in January 2008 made it independent again, and the company went into administration on 3 December 2008, after which Windsong Exports bought the group.[1]
