About Pfizer

Pfizer Inc. is an American pharmaceutical and biotechnology company whose filings give its address as 66 Hudson Boulevard East in Manhattan and its state of incorporation as Delaware, under EIN 13-5315170.[1] Two cousins from Ludwigsburg, Charles Pfizer and Charles F. Erhart, began the business as Charles Pfizer & Company in Brooklyn in 1849, which makes it one of the oldest drug makers in North America; the Delaware corporation that carries it was created on 2 June 1942, the date the register behind its LEI gives.[2][3] Its shares trade on the New York Stock Exchange as PFE.[1] Pfizer merged with Pharmacia in 2003 and acquired G. D. Searle & Company with it; Searle is a Pfizer subsidiary today under the name G.D. Searle, LLC.[2][4]
