Pearson Education, branded as Pearson since 2011, is the education publishing and services subsidiary of Pearson plc. It was formed in 1998, when Pearson plc merged Simon & Schuster's educational business, which it had just acquired, with Addison-Wesley Longman.[1] It is the parent company of Peachpit.[2]
