Mey Alkollü İçkiler Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. is the Mey|Diageo company that operates the Turkish distilleries.[1] Its Alaşehir branch in Manisa makes suma from fresh and dried grapes and produces, rests and bottles rakı; its Nevşehir branch does the same.[1][2] Turkish Wikipedia names these two plants as where Yeni Rakı is made.[3] The maker says Mey runs as two companies in Turkey, one for manufacturing and one for sales and marketing.[4]
