About Megastar

Megastar is a Saudi Arabian distributor of audio and video products, founded in 1992 in Jeddah as a subsidiary of the Al Faisaliah Group and owned by Prince Mohammed Al-Abdullah Al-Faisal; it has traded as The Modern Electronic Institute – Megastar (1992–2002), Megastar Millions Stars LLC (2003–2005) and Megastar Home Entertainment (from 2006).[1] It holds exclusive distribution rights in Saudi Arabia, the Gulf states and the wider Middle East for international music and film companies including Sony Music International, BMG, Columbia TriStar and Fox, and in 2002 bought a 51% stake in Moonlight Music of Lebanon.[1] It is credited as a label on the 2004 Saudi cassette of George Michael's Patience.[2]
