JB Hi-Fi Limited is an Australian consumer electronics retailer listed on the Australian Securities Exchange, with its headquarters in Southbank, Melbourne.[1] John Barbuto founded it in Keilor East, Victoria, in 1974, selling music and hi-fi equipment; it was floated on the ASX in October 2003 and bought The Good Guys in 2016.[1] As of June 2024 the group ran 330 stores in Australia and New Zealand.[1] It sells store-exclusive vinyl pressings, such as the 2022 raspberry vinyl edition of Bob Dylan's Blood on the Tracks.[2]
