GSK plc is the London pharmaceutical and healthcare group registered at Companies House under number 03888792, incorporated on 6 December 1999 and registered at 79 New Oxford Street, London; it traded as GlaxoSmithKline plc from 21 June 2000 until it took its present name on 16 May 2022.^[1] It was formed by the merger of Glaxo Wellcome and SmithKline Beecham, and with SmithKline Beecham it inherited the Beecham drinks brands: it owned Lucozade and Ribena until September 2013, when it sold both to the Japanese group Suntory for 1.35 billion pounds.^[2]
