Fresh Del Monte Produce Inc. is a vertically integrated producer, marketer and distributor of fresh, fresh-cut and prepared fruit and vegetables, selling in more than 90 countries and marketing worldwide under the Del Monte brand.^[1] On 19 March 2026 it completed the purchase of select assets of Del Monte Foods Corporation II Inc. for about USD 285 million in a court-supervised sale under Section 363 of the US Bankruptcy Code, taking global ownership of the Del Monte brand subject to the licensing arrangements already in force; the company states it is not affiliated with Del Monte Asia Pte. Ltd.^[1] That purchase is why brand/del-monte names this company as its owner.

It is an exempted holding company incorporated under the laws of the Cayman Islands on 29 August 1996, trading under the commercial name Del Monte Fresh Produce.^[2] No company owns it: its ordinary shares are listed on the New York Stock Exchange, and its principal shareholders are members of the Abu-Ghazaleh family, including its chairman and chief executive, who together directly owned 30.0% of the ordinary shares as of 6 February 2026, with the chairman holding an irrevocable proxy to vote those shares on most matters.^[2] It traded as FDP until it renamed itself Del Monte Corporation, a change the SEC record dates to 4 June 2026, after which the ticker became DMC.^[3] Its Form 10-Q cover gives the legal name as Del Monte Corporation, the jurisdiction of incorporation as the Cayman Islands and the registered office in George Town, Grand Cayman.^[4]
