Top company of the RhoenSprudel group, a regional German drinks maker seated in Ebersburg-Weyhers in the Landkreis Fulda.[1] The group has held the Bad Liebenwerda springs since 1990 and the Cottbus register names this holding among the shareholders of Mineralquellen Bad Liebenwerda GmbH, most recently in a publication of 5 December 2025.[2][1] In mid-2022 it was announced that the Schindel family had sold the RhoenSprudel group to the French ALMA Group, in which the Japanese pharmaceutical company Otsuka has held 49 % since 2008.[1]
