About

EFKO (Эфко) is a Russian oil-and-fat group headquartered in Alekseevka, Belgorod oblast, founded in 1994 on the base of the privatised Efirnoe works; it is Russia's largest maker of speciality fats and margarine and also produces mayonnaise, bottled oils, ketchup and dairy products, mainly under the Sloboda trademark.^[1] Its open joint-stock company, EFKO OJSC at Frunze 2, Alekseevka, holds LEI 549300PIFD5YYH8ZHE71, which has lapsed.^[2] The company prefix 4600699 is recorded here because ОАО «ЭФКО» is the manufacturer printed on Sloboda packs carrying it; no public source names the GS1 licensee.^[3]
