About CBS Disques

CBS Disques was the French company of CBS's record division, established in Paris on 1 February 1963 as a subsidiary of CBS Inc.[1] It distributed CBS and other labels' releases in France and did not operate a pressing plant of its own, contracting manufacturing out.[2] It is credited as distributor of the British-made 1989 cassette of Bob Dylan's Oh Mercy sold in France.[3]
