BMG Music Canada Inc. was the Canadian record company of the Bertelsmann Music Group, legally operating under that name from 1987 to 30 June 1998. It succeeded RCA's Canadian record company, whose roots go back to the Victor Talking Machine Co. of Canada formed in 1924. Its address was 3640A McNicoll Avenue, Scarborough, Ontario.^[1] It is credited as distributor of the Canadian CD pressing of Deep Purple's The Battle Rages On....^[2]
