BCI Foods, registered in Quebec as Les Aliments BCI Inc., is a canned soup maker and private-label food processor in Saint-Hyacinthe, Quebec, founded in 1976; it owns and makes the Aylmer and Primo soup brands.[1] As Baxters Canada, the local arm of Baxters, it bought the Aylmer and Primo soup business from CanGro Foods in May 2007,[2] and a Quebec investor group led by Champlain Financial Corporation acquired it in May 2018.[1] GLEIF records the current legal entity under Quebec enterprise number 1173465387, created in 2018.[3] Québec's food directory gives its establishment GLN as 0061202000014 and lists its Aylmer tomato soup under 061202021200; GS1 prefix 0061202 is recorded here as derived from those two codes, since no public lookup names the licensee.[4]
