About Alicorp
Alicorp is the largest Peruvian consumer goods company, headquartered in Callao and listed on the Lima stock exchange.[1] It traces its origins to 1956, when Industrias Teodoro Aldude and Anderson, Clayton & Co. began as oil and soap makers in Callao; Grupo Romero acquired Anderson, Clayton & Co. in 1971.[1] In 2019 Alicorp agreed to buy Intradevco, owner of Sapolio, Aval, Dento, Patito and Amor, for US$490.5 million, adding bleach, dishwashing and other home-care categories and entering personal care.[2]
