Includes any products that can be described/observed as a consumer electronics component typically found within a home theatre system. Their primary purpose is to amplify sound from a multitude of possible audio sources as well as route video signals to a TV from various sources. The user may program and configure a unit to take inputs from devices such as DVD players and video recorders and can select which source to route to the TV and have sound output. Includes products that offer specialised Digital Signal Processors (DSP) made for handling various presets and audio effects.

Excludes

Excludes products such as set-top boxes and aerials as well as complete theatre systems that contain A/V receivers.
