Rivets (Fixings/Fasteners)

Includes any products that may be described/observed as a metal bolt or pin which has a head on one end and is inserted through aligned holes in the material pieces to be joined and then hammered on the plain end so as to form a second head. Generally one head of a rivet is factory formed and, dependent on the material type, the user may have to heat the rivet to create the second binding head. These products are a permanent fixing. Includes products such as Blind Rivets and Lazy Tongue Rivets as well as Dome Head Rivets.
