Includes any products that may be described/observed as a coarse material, such as gravel or broken stone with which cement and water are mixed to form concrete. Crushed stone is usually designated as coarse aggregate and gravel is broken down further to form the majority of finer aggregate. Includes products such as aggregate used in construction.

Excludes products such as concrete mixes as well as sand.
