Includes any products that can be described/observed as a preparation specifically designed for use as a sperm-killing agent, and typically intended as an aid to birth control. Includes products in cream, gel, tablet, film or liquid form. These products are used before any sexual activity as additional protection against the risk of becoming pregnant and to prevent sexually transmitted diseases. Products are normally used with a Diaphragm, Cervical Cap or Condom, but can be inserted directly into the vagina.

Excludes

Excludes products such as Contraceptive Spermicides obtained only by prescription or from a healthcare professional, as well as Sponges and Hormonal Contraception.
