Wind-up Records

About

Wind-up Records is an American record label founded in New York City in 1997 by Alan and Diana Meltzer. Its best-selling artists worldwide were Creed and Evanescence.^[1] The Bicycle Music Company bought much of the back catalogue in October 2013. Concord bought the rest of the label in May 2015, retired it as a frontline label in 2016 and now reissues its records under Craft Recordings.^[1] On the European edition of Evanescence's Fallen the label shares the sleeve with Sony's Epic.^[2]
