WEA, short for Warner Elektra Atlantic, is a record label of Warner Music Group. The acronym was introduced in early 1972, when Warner Communications' international music division was renamed, and Warner subsidiaries outside the United States took the name; WEA was used as a label in some markets from the late 1970s. Its label code is LC 4281.^[1]
