About

Vlasic is an American brand of pickles, introduced in 1942 and currently owned by Conagra Brands.[1] The business grew out of a Detroit dairy distributor, was sold to Campbell Soup Company in 1978, spun off to Vlasic Foods International in 1998 and later came to Pinnacle Foods, now part of Conagra.[1] Its stork mascot dates from 1974.[1] Canadian jars carry the stork and the line "since / depuis 1942" and name Pinnacle Foods Canada Corporation as licensee of the trade mark.[2]
