Sierra Mist was a lemon-lime soft drink line that PepsiCo introduced in 1999 and sold in all US markets by 2003, aimed at competing with Sprite and 7 Up.[1] The regular drink was sold as Sierra Mist Natural from 2010 until about 2013, renamed Mist Twst in 2016 and returned to Sierra Mist in 2018; Diet Sierra Mist was sweetened with aspartame and acesulfame potassium.[1] PepsiCo replaced the brand with Starry in January 2023.[2]
