Sambazon is the açaí brand of Sambazon, Inc., a privately held company in San Clemente, California that has sold açaí-based foods and drinks since 2000 and is credited with bringing the berry to the United States.[1] Frozen açaí packs, bowls, sorbets and ready-to-drink juices carry the name, and the brand's own site sells its Original Açaí Juice through major American grocers.[2]
