Pilot is the brand of pens, inks and stationery made by Pilot Corporation of Tokyo, which traces its origins to Ryosuke Namiki's nib workshop of 1915 and the Namiki Manufacturing Company of 1918.[1] Its lines include FriXion, Acroball, G2 and VBall.[1] Pilot Corporation of Europe runs a factory near Annecy, France, that supplies much of the European range.[2]
