Piątnica is the consumer brand of Okręgowa Spółdzielnia Mleczarska w Piątnicy, the dairy cooperative at ul. Forteczna 3 in Piątnica, near Łomża in north-east Poland.[1] The red oval logo with a green leaf signs cottage cheeses, quark, yoghurts, cream, butter and milk.[2] The cooperative is owned by more than two thousand farmers in Mazovia, Podlasie and the Kurpie region, was the first Polish producer to sell a cottage-cheese style curd, and exports to close to thirty countries.[3]
