Lisner

About

Lisner is the Polish brand of herring preparations, salads and sandwich spreads carried by Lisner Poznań, whose seat and main factory are in Poznań.^[1] The name comes from the German Lisner family, first recorded in a Rhineland-Westphalian trade register in 1765 and originally in salmon, then herring; production in Poland started in 1991 in Wolsztyn and moved to Poznań three years later.^[2] The brand passed through Uniq Plc from 1998 and the Homann group from 2010 before the Müller group absorbed it, and its logo and packaging were redrawn in 2010 and again in 2021.^[2][1] Sandwich spreads joined the range in 2001 and are sold as Pastella.^[1]
