Soy sauce and seasoning brand of Kikkoman Corporation, whose trademark notice is printed on the brand's European packs.[1] The company's forerunner, Noda Shoyu Co. Ltd., adopted "Kikkoman" as its single brand name nationwide in Japan in 1940.[2] Wikipedia calls it the most popular soy sauce brand in Japan and the United States.[3] Soy sauce for Europe has been brewed in Hoogezand-Sappemeer in the Netherlands since 1997.[4]
