Karhu

About

Karhu, Finnish for bear, is a pale lager brand owned by the Sinebrychoff brewery; brewing began in 1929 at the Pori brewery, which Sinebrychoff bought in 1972 and closed in 2009 after moving production to Kerava in 2006.^[1] The brewery lists the range under its own site, from Karhu 4,6 and Karhu 5,3 to the alcohol-free Karhu 0,0 and the newer Platina and Kupari lagers.^[2] The brand runs its own age-gated site at karhu.fi under the slogan "Seuraa itseäsi".^[3]
