Kana is a French-language manga label created in 1996 on the initiative of Yves Schlirf, a Brussels bookseller close to the Dargaud group; it began with two manhwa by Hyun Se Lee and turned to manga in 1997 with Yū Yū Hakusho, Saint Seiya and Détective Conan, later publishing Naruto and Death Note.[1] Kana is the editorial mark of Dargaud-Lombard SA, a Belgian company of the Média-Participations group.[2]
