Addison-Wesley is an American publisher of textbooks and computer literature, founded in 1942 by Lew Addison Cummings and Melbourne Wesley Cummings.[1] Pearson bought it in 1988, and it was merged into Addison Wesley Longman in 1994 and Pearson Education in 1998. It is now an imprint of Pearson plc.[1]
